Pre-production was an important process so that everything would be aligned perfectly and how you want it. I didn't want to mess around with the layout too much as it was only a trial print of a Japanese book bind, as well as my ideas for future layouts. I had to open up photoshop and create a ruler line in the centre at 14.85cm, on an A5 landscape layout. This was so when i printed it out it would then be cut in the centre, so to make sure i knew where to cut i added in a small thin line at the top.
